Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Second Chance for Pets. Please take a moment to read the information below before starting the application process.

• We are an all volunteer group. We try to respond to applications on a daily basis, but sometimes it may take a little more time than that. We will get back to you as soon as we possibly can. Once your application has been processed, our first contact with you may be through email.
• Our adoption application must be filled out completely and accurately. We can only go off of the information that you and your references provide.
• Our adoption application is just the beginning of the adoption process. Occasionally we may have additional questions to clarify responses on the application or statements made by your references. Asking these follow-up questions helps us ensure that the pet you would like to adopt is the perfect fit for your lifestyle since our goal is a successful permanent adoption. Please do not take offense to our process; we ask for the same information from everyone who applies to adopt one of our pets.
